A unique family of aesthetes, the Sharma’s are skilled jewellers and gem cutters who have passed on extraordinary artistry, craftsmanship and passion from generation to generation. Mr. Satish Sharma is an accomplished jeweller, motivator, Yoga teacher and a great mentor to the family. He brought his knowledge of the world to the family business in 1970’. His passion for reading led him to collect the best knowledge about all kinds of Gems mined around the globe. Students from prestigious Institutions like IITTM (Indian institution of tourism and travel management), Gwalior (India) have benefited from his knowledge about gems and jewels as part of the All India Guide Training Programs. He has read religious books and scriptures such as the Shrimad Bhagwad Gita and uses that spiritual knowledge in his day to day life. He also shares his knowledge of Yoga with Yoga trainers from around the world. A well-connected person, he keeps in touch with world-famous jewellery designers and jewellery houses across the world.
Late Mr Shyamdas (World-renowned scholar, author, kirtan leader and great devotee of Lord Krishna) was a major friend and influence on his life. In Mr Shyamdas’s 40 years in India, he wrote many books on Bhakti Yoga and Mr Satish continues to draw inspiration from them.
Mr. Rahul Sharma - The elder son of Satish, Rahul has been generously handed down business skills and aesthetic sense from his father. After completing his studies in Jaipur, he started expanding the family business by forging new alliances and making new connections. This skill comes naturally to him. The products of Rajasthan Gems are promoted and marketed by him with innovation and passion.
Mr. Piyush Sharma is the younger brother of Rahul and was trained under the proficient eye of his father. Not satisfied with what he already knew, he sought a professional certificate on gems from GIA(Gemological Institute of America) to gain an upper hand. He went on to get a certificate for Jewelry Manufacturing from IIGJ (Indian Institute of Gems & Jewelry) Jaipur. Together, the family hopes to take Rajasthan Gems to unprecedented heights in aesthetics, passion and manufacture of exquisite jewellery because we realise that we don’t make jewellery, we make memories!
